Achieve Boston
Achieve Boston is a citywide training and career development initiative for school-age practitioners and youth workers located in Boston, MA. A school-age and youth development competency framework provides the basis for an interactive web site that allows practitioners to match their skill development with their training needs. An on-line catalog of training opportunities is continuously updated.

Center for the Child Care Workforce
A non-profit, research, education and advocacy organization committed to improving child care quality by upgrading the compensation, working conditions and training of child care teachers and family child care providers.

Center for the Study of Child Care Employment
The Center for the Study of Child Care Employment (CSCCE) focuses on issues relating to the several million teachers and providers currently working in center-based and home-based early care and education settings in the United States. Through research, policy analysis and policy development, the Center promotes improvements in job conditions for the early care and education workforce, and in services for children and families.

Connecticut Charts-a-Course
Connecticut Charts-A-Course (CCAC) is the statewide professional development system for early education and school-age care. Their mission is to support career development and program improvement by promoting the achievement of national and state professional standards. CCAC offers a comphrensive set of services to individuals interested in pursuing or continuing a career in school-age care.

Indiana School-Age Consortium
The Indiana School-Age Consortium (ISAC) exists to unite service providers, community organizations, school corporations, parents, funding sources and citizens in a statewide coordinated effort to identify the needs and promote the welfare of school-age children 5 to 18 years old. The organization provides training, information, and networking opportunities for youth workers throughout the state. Professional development of youth workers is a Consortium high priority. As a result, the Indiana Youth Development Credential positions Indiana as the eleventh state to develop such a credentialing process. The credential provides an opportunity for adults working with youth to gain professional recognition for demonstrating competence on the job. The Consortium collaborates with the twelve Ivy Technical Community Colleges and the T.E.A.C.H. Early ChildhoodŽ INDIANA Scholarships to recruit and train potential students for the Indiana Youth Development (IYD) Credential. Pennsylvania Pathways
Pennsylvania Pathways is a statewide career development initiative for school age and early care and education practitioners. System highlights include a Core Body of Knowledge, a Professional Development Record and a Trainer Quality Assurance System.

YouthNet of Greater Kansas City
YouthNet of Greater Kansas City is a career and professional development organization for practitioners in the youth work field. This non-profit houses mid-west BEST, offers training and certificate programs and has developed skill standards for those working with both the school-age and teen populations.
